Case Study 2: 18-hole private members golf club in the heart of Berkshire.
I began my engagement with this private members club in 2017 as a Sales and Marketing Consultant. In this role, I served as the primary resource for advertising and marketing initiatives for the club to increase sales and revenue, providing essential support for membership, golf days and function sales.

the challenge

There had been very limited marketing or dedicated membership sales efforts, no existing database, no form of data collection and very limited marketing collateral. The club also had a sub-standard website, which was not capturing data or generating leads.
- Designed all the clubs marketing collateral, brochures, newsletters, PDFs
- Built a completely new WordPress website to capture data and sell
- Set up a Google Ads and Meta Advertising Accounts to sell membership, golf days, green fees, functions and weddings
- Deployed Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to track key metrics and website analytics
- Implemented a CRM to track and manage data
- Initiated a new streamlined membership sign up process in conjunction with the admin and accounts team using Intelligent Golf
- Designed and implemented an online application form, online membership contract, data collection forms for membership and golf day enquiries using WordPress and Intelligent Golf
- Created new golf and function/wedding events to increase attendance and sales

Personally delivered £80,000 in membership sales revenue in 3 months when there was no in-house membership manager
Implemented a CRM and developed a segmented contact database from scratch to 5600 entries for membership, golf days, green fees, functions and weddings using numerous marketing initiatives
Built a bespoke WordPress website, customised landing pages, data capture forms, online application forms increasing website traffic and capturing data
